Windowrie Winery, located on a hill overlooking the beautiful landscape of the Cowra region, was established in 1987 in the Canowindra region, approximately 26km north of Cowra centre. Windowrie Winery's goal and advantage is to provide good quality wine at a reasonable price by reflecting the region's unique character in the wine.

The 'Portraits' Range is a Bordeaux wine project by Maison Bouey, a famous négociant in Bordeaux, and was launched by selecting only traditional and famous producers from each appellation and designing each producer's portrait on the front label. “Portraits Collection” of wines in a variety of price ranges, where six young and talented winemakers from Bordeaux, Bordeaux Superieur, Blaye-Cotes de Bordeaux, Haut-Medoc, and Saint-Emilion create wines with an emphasis on whole Bordeaux barrels.
