History
: Château La Négly is a historic estate located in the La Clape appellation of Languedoc overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, where strong sunshine, cooling sea breezes, and the powerful Tramontane wind create exceptional conditions for viticulture. The estate’s history dates back to the 18th century and, after passing through several renowned winemakers, it has evolved into one of the leading premium wine producers in Languedoc.
Today, the Roux-Rosset family continues to elevate the quality of the estate by combining traditional expertise with modern vineyard practices. Major changes, including replanting vineyards with Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre and adopting strict manual harvesting methods, have helped establish Château La Négly as a benchmark producer that fully expresses the elegance, freshness, and power of the Languedoc terroir.
About Wine
: After 72 hours of cold maceration, the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation and is then aged on its lees for four months in temperature-controlled tanks. Produced by Château La Négly — one of the most prestigious wineries in the Languedoc region and the producer of a Robert Parker 100-point wine — this cuvée represents the estate’s more approachable range while maintaining the excellence and reputation built through consistently outstanding ratings over the years.
